First Alert Weather: Cool and dry Sunday, warmer days ahead

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - After Saturday's showers and wind, Sunday will be cool and dry.  Much warmer weather arrives later in the new week.  There will be some opportunities for some showers and thunderstorms.   Details...

SATURDAY NIGHT TO MONDAY: Skies will be mostly clear and it will be chilly and less breezy.  Overnight lows will dip down to around 30. Sunday will be mostly sunny and still cool with highs in the mid 50's.  Sunday night will be mostly clear with lows in the mid 30's.  Monday will be the last cool day with mostly sunny skies and highs in the low 50's. 

TUESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY: Here comes the big warm up!  Tuesday and Wednesday will feature mostly cloudy skies and a good chance of scattered showers early Tuesday.  Highs soar into the mid and upper 60's.  Even warmer for Thursday and Friday with highs in the low 70's.  We'll see another shot at an isolated shower or thunderstorm on Friday.  Overnight lows moderate from the 40's into the low 50's.
