GLENDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

An argument between two men led to the fatal stabbing of one of them Thursday night.

A woman found the 34-year-old man's body in front of a residence in the 4600 block of West Rose Lane, in the area of 43rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road, Glendale Police Sgt. Jay O'Neill said.

The man was taken to an area hospital, but later died.

O'Neill said the argument turned into a fight before the unidentified suspect stabbed the victim.

He said several witnesses were being interviewed. Police also had an unidentified investigative lead in custody, O'Neill said.

The victim's name was being withheld pending notification of family, O'Neill said.

Detectives blocked off West Rose Lane, where the body was found, to complete their investigation, which was continuing, O'Neill said.

No other information was immediately available.
