ECU Football players Terrell Stanley and Isaac Harris were involved in a serious car accident Wednesday morning.
GREENVILLE, NC (WECT) - ECU Football players Terrell Stanley and Isaac Harris were involved in a serious car accident Wednesday morning.
According to school officials, Stanley was the driver in the single-vehicle accident and is listed in critical condition at Vidant Medical Center. Harris was also transported to Vidant and released after precautionary evaluations were completed.
Stanley, a defensive end from Southport, NC, started 12 of 13 games as a sophomore for the Pirates during the 2013 season. He earned All-Conference USA honors. He is a South Brunswick High School graduate.
Harris, from Irmo, SC, played in 12 of 13 contests for the Pirates in 2013 and was a key part of ECU's record-setting season.
Both players were on their way to ECU from an off-campus residence when the accident happened.
