WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - A Wilmington teen has been arrested twice in two weeks for the same offense -- breaking into a home and stealing a bicycle.

Wilmington Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering in progress at a home on Brookwood Lane late Wednesday morning.

Three male suspects fled on foot before officers could arrive, but after setting up a perimeter police caught one suspect riding a bike he had just stolen from the residence. 

Deandre Tilghman, 16, was arrested and charged with larceny and conspiracy to commit breaking and entering.

Tilghman was also arrested on Thursday, Jan. 23 after breaking into a home off Wrightsville Avenue and stealing a bicycle.
