There were moments of high drama Thursday night at the Louise Wells Cameron Art Museum as organizers of the Azalea Festival pulled back the wrapping and revealed the art work that will be used in posters and other promotional products for the festival.
This year's painting is by local artist Ivey Hayes. His works hang in galleries and museums and are prized by collectors.
With vibrant colors, he's captured the spirit of the 58th Annual Azalea Festival.
Organizers did drop some hints about some of the celebrities they're hoping to lure to the festival, including a husband and wife team famed for their movie roles and an actress from a hit tv drama.
