The northbound lanes of Interstate 65 in southern Kentucky are back open after a crash shut them down for hours.
Snow and ice made the roads slick near Franklin, KY, Monday morning, which may have caused multiple accidents.
A crash involving several cars and an 18-wheeler near Exit 6 closed the interstate.
One driver involved in the crash says he tried to stop but couldn't.
"As I tried to apply my brakes, I went into a slide on that bridge right there. The ice was a phantom. You can't see it, and when you really need your tires to brake, I was unable to stop," said Andre Ellis.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
