Metro road conditions improving, secondary roads still mostly covered

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Roads across the Louisville metro are improving but remain covered in places after six inches of snow fell overnight in some areas.

The Louisville Metro Police Department said interstates are also clear of accidents as of 10 a.m.

Routt Road off Taylorsville Lake Road and Taylorsville Road in the Fisherville neighborhood of Louisville is reportedly treacherous, McGill said.

Indiana State Police report I-65 is in good shape with only isolated slick spots.

All secondary roads are still partially to mostly snow covered as of 10 a.m.

Slow down and plan extra time for any trips you may be making today. Remember to be careful on all bridges, overpasses and ramps, even if they appear to be clear.
