WILMINGTON, NC - (WECT) - Dozens of people packed into the Coastline Convention Center on Sunday for the annual Wine and Chocolate Festival.
There were more than a dozen vineyards and over 60 vendors for people to visit and sample from. There were also food demonstrations and activities for the kids.
However, it was about more than just the chocolate, organizers say all of the proceeds benefit seniors and programs like Meals on Wheels.
"We want to be able to provide them with money, provide the Senior Resource Center with the money in order to be able to ensure that these people a better quality of life and that they are able to age in a positive way," said Charlotte Rosenberg. "We should all support or seniors in our community."
