Your Week in Viral Videos: You have a lot to learn

A flying turkey isn't a pretty sight, even before it crashes into the side of a building. (Max Zaslove/YouTube) A flying turkey isn't a pretty sight, even before it crashes into the side of a building. (Max Zaslove/YouTube)

(RNN) - Don't feel bad if you didn't know turkeys could fly, many people don't.

Misconceptions can often arise about creatures that exist solely to be slaughtered for the last two months of every year and for the occasional lunch sandwich in between.

But yes, wild turkeys can fly - although their flight is not nearly as graceful as most other birds. You can also forget about them migrating when the seasons change.

If you need further proof, here is some visual evidence.

Jim Cantore is not afraid of you

Sure, everyone has been through that phase where they fantasize about distracting a reporter during a live shot. Or maybe you didn't. Stop judging.

The Weather Channel's Jim Cantore gave everyone with such notions a reason to think twice when he kneed an oncoming college kid in the groin. Cantore didn't even stop speaking.

The young man, College of Charleston student Colin Marcelli, obviously failed to do his homework - not a good sign for a college student. Otherwise, he would have known it's a very bad idea to rush up on someone who looks like this and who has survived something like this.

We're just talking here

Well-built Italian guy gets angry. Guy walks away. Guy comes back and threatens to throw another guy off a balcony if he makes him angry again.

It's a scene from a mob movie, right? Wrong! It was an exchange between New York Rep. Michael Grimm and a TV reporter.

And who says lawmakers in Congress can't get things done?

American-style football

Not everyone gets the hoopla surrounding the Super Bowl, especially British people.

The only thing funnier than watching them try to play American football - and it's really funny - is watching them try to explain the sport's biggest spectacle.
