BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) - U.S. Senator Kay Hagan announced Wednesday that $1 million in federal funding for Brunswick
Electric Membership Cooperative will go to help Dosher Memorial Hospital in
Southport, according to a news release.
According to officials, Brunswick Electric Membership Cooperative
will receive a $700,000 loan and a $300,000 grant to help the hospital purchase a new
office building. The money will also help to provide more services to local
