WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Officials at the Wilmington Airport sat in a webinar with the National Weather Service Monday afternoon in preparation for the impending ice and snow.

According to a representative from the NSW, this could be the worst winter weather situation facing the airport since 2004.

Airport officials say Delta has already cancelled one of its flights set to come in Tuesday.

According to officials, the airport has anti-icing to put down as a precautionary measure and has four plows to use once accumulation starts.

Airport officials urge flyers to check out the ILM website or their respective airline's website for the latest any info regarding cancellations and delays.
