No. 6 Florida defeats Alabama on the road 68-62

TUSCALOOSA, AL (RNN) - No. 6 Florida remains undefeated in SEC play after taking down Alabama on their turf 68-62 on Thursday.

The Gators (16-2, 5-0 SEC) made only 23 of their 61 field goals, a slightly smaller percentage than the Crimson Tide's (8-10, 2-3) 22 of 57. Alabama also did better at the free throw line, making 73 percent of their throws compared to Florida's 67 percent. But the Gators had better luck shooting from downtown, making 10 of their 28 3-pointers compared to the Tide's two of 12.

Michael Frazier II led Florida with 18 points, including five 3-pointers. Casey Prather had 14 points and three blocks, while Scottie Wilbekin scored 10 points and led with four assists.

Trevor Releford led Alabama with 14 points, four assists and two steals. Nick Jacobs added 12 points, Levi Randolph scored 11 and Shannon Hale had 10.
