WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - A former Hugh MaCrae park groundskeeper pleaded guilty Tuesday for trading court ordered community service hours for cash.

Richard Randolph Huddleston pleaded guilty to three counts of obstruction of justice and three counts of obtaining property by false pretense. The guilty plea was part of his plea deal that earned him one year of supervised probation.

Huddleston was arrested last summer after a sting operation where investigators say he took cash from an undercover cop to sign off on community service hours.
