WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - The Wilmington based Cue Center for Missing Person's is still helping in the search for missing South Carolina woman, Heather Elvis. Elvis has now been missing for a month.

The 20-year-old from Horry County, SC disappeared on December 18.  Monica Caison, leader of the Cue Center, has been part of the search for the past few weeks.

Caison said the search has drawn hundreds of volunteers from around the area.  Even though Elvis has been missing for an extended period, searchers aren't getting discouraged.

"I think people want to continue.  This is a person of their community.  Everyone somehow or shape or form has a connection to the Elvis'," Caison explained.

The search will continue into the coming weeks as investigators begin looking into new areas.

"I think as long as there's a search, people will show up," Caison elaborated.

The head of the Cue Center said she will head back to Horry County on Sunday to begin scouting out new search spots.
