Would-be robber attacks Chesterfield woman in McDonald's bathroom
CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -
Chesterfield police are looking for the person who they say tried to rob two women and attacked one woman in the bathroom of a fast-food restaurant.
Investigators say, the suspect walked into the McDonald's at 12530 Jefferson Davis Highway in Chesterfield and went straight to the restroom.
The victims told police, the suspect ran into the bathroom screaming and demanding money. That's when the victims physically fought back.
Police say, the suspect then backed off for just a second before pulling a small handgun out of her purse. According to police, the victims tried to grab the weapon but the suspect used it to repeatedly beat one of them in the head.
The would-be robber then ran out of the bathroom without taking anything. Police say, several employees and customers tried to stop her but she got away.

The crime happened on December 27, 2013. Police describe the suspect is described as a young white female, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall with a small build.
