WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – The cast and crew of Sleepy Hollow will begin production on the second season in Wilmington in March.
Today, FOX Entertainment Chairman Kevin Reilly talked about the success of Sleepy Hollow and the future of the show at the Television Critics Association Winter 2014 Press Tour.
Reilly also revealed that there will be 13 episodes in the second season. These episodes will run continuously starting in the fall.
The show has been a surprise hit for the network, bringing in millions of viewers every Monday night.
Sleepy Hollow filmed its first season on location in and around Wilmington. Some of the scenes are shot at EUE Screen Gems Studios.
According to producers, Wilmington was chosen for filming due to the state's film incentives program, the strong local crew and the mix of modern and historic locations in the area.
