(RNN) - It may mean swallowing a little pride to admit another person is smarter than you - but what about an animal?

Rodd Scheinerman wanted to figure out how his beagle, Lucy, was getting food from the oven. So he set up a camera, left the house and waited to see what would happen.

He found out man's best friend can do a lot more than roll over and beg.

We're expecting

Internet baby announcements have become a fad almost annoying as Gangnam Style, so really, what could someone possibly do that hasn't been done yet?

They could stage their announcement as the trailer for a horror film.

Couple things about that. Raising kids is not always fun, but a horror movie - really?

Second, I'm just waiting for the day when some ridiculously rich couple buys a Super Bowl spot to make the same kind of announcement.

Gravity "outtakes"

We're not sure why Arnold Schwarzenegger wasn't cast to play in the sci-fi drama Gravity.

But it doesn't matter. We found a sampling of a scene that probably would have earned him an Oscar Golden Globe Screen Actors Guild Razzie Award.
