BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Residents in Boiling Spring lakes could soon see more development that carries a hefty price tag for taxpayers.
There will be a public hearing Monday night about land that has been offered to the city located near the Highway 87 corridor.
Town leaders are considering it for commercial development, but it would cost tax payers nearly $1 million in sewer assessment fees.
Town leaders are expected to vote on the decision Tuesday.
