BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Authorities in Brunswick County are investigating a homicide, according to District Attorney Jon David.
David said Jason Rowland Anderson was shot and killed overnight Sunday into Monday off of Townsend Lane, near Village Rd. NE.
Neighbors said they could hear gunshots while they were laying in bed.
According to David, officials are searching for James "Jimmy" Ketchum who is wanted on first degree murder charges. Ketchum is considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone who has seen Ketchum or knows anything about the shooting is asked to call Leland Police at (910) 371-1100.
