Billikens will test Vanderbilt on Monday at Memorial Gym

(RNN) - Two streaking teams collide Monday night at Memorial Gym in Nashville when the Vanderbilt Commodores host the St. Louis Billikens.

Vanderbilt plays its first game in nine days in the ESPNU game that will tip at 9 p.m. ET.

Vandy is on a three-game winning streak after beating Georgia Tech 73-63 at Memorial Gym on Dec. 21. Ron Odom led the Commodores in that game with 18 points, including four-of-five from 3-point land. Kyle Fuller scored 12 points and added six rebounds and five assists.

St. Louis (11-2) is on a five-game win streak and have only lost to nationally ranked Wisconsin and Wichita State.

The Billikens are led by Dwayne Evans with 15.9 points per game. Jordan Jett averages 10.9.

The Commodores (7-3) are led by Odom's 13.3 and 5.5 rebounds per game. He's the second-leading 3-point shooter in the SEC, hitting 45.9 percent from long distance.

A seasonably hot and humid summer air mass will bathe the Cape Fear Region into the weekend. Moisture from the remnants of Tropical Storm Cindy and the approach of a front will boost rain chances at times. Following the front, a dose of marginally cooler air with lower rain chances appears possible if not likely by the middle of next week.
