WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – The Cape Fear Museum is displaying an exhibit called, "Mail Call" during the month of the museum.
The exhibit is part of the Smithsonian's traveling museum. "Mail Call" shows the different methods of communication used during war time throughout history.
The museum's Learning Center gives attendees an opportunity to try out Victory Mail and Snail Mail to send letters to men and women currently deployed. It also allows children to create new forms of communication that may be used in the future.
The museum has discovered although the forms of communication have changed, messages to loved ones in war, have remained constant.
