CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WECT) – There have been several opportunities to see the International Space Station as is soared over the southeastern North Carolina this year, and one viewer captured the ISS as it traversed the seaside sky.

Kyle Gilgen snapped three shots of the ISS as it passed over the Carolina Beach Pier. He told WECT.com that he combined three 25-second exposures to show the motion and trajectory of the ISS as it disappeared over the Atlantic Ocean.

The ISS was visible for about 4 minutes Friday night.
