TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is making some holiday changes at the Nogales ports of entry.

Starting today, the agency is extending the hours of operation at the Mariposa port and the Morley pedestrian crossing.

The Mariposa port will be open from 6 a.m. until midnight through Jan. 15.

The Morley Gate will be open from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. through Christmas Eve.

The ports are typically jammed this time of year with families and shoppers traveling across the border.
