WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - If you are thinking about quitting smoking, New Hanover Regional Medical Center is offering a program that can help.
According to a news release from NHRMC, Smokeless is a program created by the American Institute of Preventative Medicine to help people quit smoking permanently. The program helps individuals succeed by giving them the tools they need to overcome the urge and pressure to smoke.
The program includes seven classes beginning on Tuesday, January 7. All classes will take place at 7 p.m. in the first floor classroom of the NHRMC Rehabilitation Hospital.
Officials say participants will receive booklets, a relaxation CD, quitting aids, and toll-free counseling.
The cost of the program is $60.
