BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Deputies in Brunswick County arrested two more people in connection to drug trafficking.
According to a spokesperson for the sheriff's office, Joshua Aenes Rodriguez tried to run from deputies in Horry County who were trying to serve warrants from Brunswick County at his home in Little River.
Officials said Rodriguez was eventually taken into custody Wednesday by the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office Vice-Narcotics Unit along with the Special Ops Unit at a traffic stop in Calabash.
Ross Edmund McGillicuddy, who was also wanted for conspiracy to traffic opium or heroin, was at the home in Little River and taken into custody by deputies with the Horry County Sheriff's Office.
Saquan Jones was arrested earlier this month in connection to possession with intent to manufacture sell and deliver and other drug-related charges.
Both Rodriguez and McGillicuddy were arrested on November 19 for additional heroin related charges. On that arrest date, agents found 211 bindles of heroin in a seized vehicle.
