First Alert Weather: chilly and dry now but milder and wetter change coming soon

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - A high pressure system will bring continued chilly and dry weather through Friday. A low pressure system will bring milder and wetter weather for the weekend.
THURSDAY NIGHT: Expect clear and freezing conditions. Lows will generally be in the mid to upper 20s for inland areas and lower 30s for the beaches. Winds: light and northerly or calm.

FRIDAY: Expect sunny or mostly sunny skies, light and variable breezes, and afternoon highs mainly in the low and mid 50s.

SATURDAY: Clouds will bring 30 - 50% rain chances for the morning and then 70 - 90% chances for the afternoon and night. Temperatures: milder 60s in the afternoon.

SUNDAY: Expect variable clouds. A few showers may linger. Rain chances: 50% early, 30% late. Highs: mainly lower 60s. Weekend rain totals: mainly 0.5 to 0.75" as it looks now.
