BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Deputies with the Bladen County Sheriff's Office have arrested several people in connection to drugs.
According to the sheriff's office, Sherod Dakota Davis, 30 of Bladenboro, and Ashley Marie Porter, 21 of Bladenboro, were both charged in connection to "Operation Southwest."
Davis was arrested Dec. 9 and charged with:
2cts possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine
2 cts manufacture cocaine
2 cts maintain a vehicle/dwelling for the purpose of controlled substance
2 cts sell cocaine
2 cts deliver cocaine
Porter was arrested Nov. 20 and charged with:
possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II CS
sell schedule II CS
deliver schedule II CS
maintain dwelling or place for controlled substance
The Bladen County Sheriff's Office and the Elizabethtown Police Department also assisted North Carolina Probation and Parole on a warrantless search Dec. 6 on Ashe Street in Bladenboro.
As a result, 47-year-old Darlene Cain Batton, 27-year-old Dorothy Renee Deaver and 30-year-old Tristan Singletary, all of Bladenboro, were arrested in connection to drug-related and probation violation charges.
