Who faces charges connected to a Carolina Beach restaurant?

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WECT) – The couple behind the Twisted Lime in Carolina Beach face criminal charges, according to Alcohol Law Enforcement.

Corey Alison Carter served alcohol to two underage employees, according to ALE. One of those teens later crashed into a telephone pole, according to a previous report.

Lab results showed the teen's Blood Alcohol Concentration measure .17, according to a letter from the NC Alcoholic Beverage Commission.

Carter faces seven charges connected to serving the teens alcohol. Her boyfriend, and restaurant owner, Vincenzo "Vinny" Doria faces two charges for failing to superintend in person or through a manager.

The ABC Commission revoked the restaurant's alcohol permits.
