NEW ALBANY, IN (WAVE) - A weather-related State of Emergency in Floyd County, Indiana was lifted Saturday morning. Travel is now permitted, according to the Floyd County Emergency Management Agency.
The State of Emergency was declared Friday evening after snow and freezing rain made driving conditions treacherous. Floyd County drivers were advised to stay off roads unless they had an emergency.
