LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - No sleet, snow or freezing rain could stop some Highlands neighbors from taking their dogs for a stroll on Friday.
While there were plenty of LG&E trucks driving around, the usually busy Friday night sidewalks on Bardstown Road were nearly empty and businesses looked a little lonely as many folks who were out, stayed in their cars.
Highlands neighbor Billy Strobel who ventured out said he wanted to try out his four wheel drive, "Well, it's a true story," he laughed, "You know we wanted to be out in the middle of it and I haven't gotten to use my four wheel drive in three years."
Kevin Dawson and his 7-year-old son Julian also weren't about to give up their Friday night movie tradition at Wild and Wooly Video.
As for the roads? Dawson said he thought the city did a good job clearing them.
