LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A Columbus, Indiana man was arrested for allegedly robbing several Louisville banks and threatening the tellers.

According to Louisville Metro Police, Frank Martin, 37, robbed three different banks over the course of several months. An arrest report states than on June 3, Martin went to the Class Act Federal Union on Fern Valley Road. Once inside, Martin apparently presented the teller with a demand note which indicated that he was armed, demanded money and received it before fleeing.

On November 26, Martin allegedly entered the Fifth Third Bank on West Market Street where he again presented a demand note, threatened to shoot the teller, demanded and received money before he fled the scene.

Martin's arrest warrant states that on December 5 he entered the Stock Yards Bank on East Main Street where he handed the teller a demand note and an empty deposit bag. According to the teller, Martin said, "If you trip the alarm, I will shoot you in the face." Again, Martin allegedly fled with money.

Surveillance footage from Stock Yards Bank helped police identify Martin and the teller also identified him through a photo pack.

Martin is being charged with three counts of first degree robbery.
