BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WECT) – A man was arrested in Bladen County at the end of November in connection to possession of stolen property.
According to Police Chief Robert Kinlaw, someone reported that speakers and an amp had been stolen from her garage in mid-November. The victim explained to authorities she had some contractors working at the home when the larceny happened.
Kinlaw said a friend of the victim later advised that the stolen amp and speakers were at a pawn shop in Whiteville.
An investigation revealed that a member of the landscape crew that was working at the home had sold the items to an individual who took the property the pawn shop.
