COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) – A DJ from Columbus County was recently inducted into the Carolina Beach Music Radio Hall of Fame.

Tom Stanley has been in the radio industry for decades. He was on the air first in Wilmington for 15 years and then moved his career to Columbus County where he's been heard over the airwaves for more than 20 years.

Stanley is currently the host of a show on Cool 105.3, which ironically is called Hall of Fame. The radio station was awarded best FM station for the second consecutive year at the Carolina Beach Music Awards in Myrtle Beach.

Stanley believes he was inducted into the Hall of Fame because of his longevity in radio.
