WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Police have released the name of a man from South Carolina who was hit and killed Wednesday night off Eastwood Road, near Port City Chop House.

According to police, Cort R. Flint, 70 of Greenville, was crossing Eastwood Road around 8:20 p.m. when he was hit by a Lexus SUV.

Witnesses told police the man was wearing dark colored clothing at the time.

No charges have been filed at this time.

This is the second pedestrian hit and killed in Wilmington in two days. A man from Connecticut was hit and killed while trying to cross Market Street Tuesday night.
