Police: Autopsy results could lead to charges after fetus is found

ASHTABULA, OH (WOIO) -

Police are awaiting autopsy results to determine whether a Ashtabula County woman will face  charges after the death of a baby. 

An investigation was launched Tuesday after a cops say a fetus was found the attic of home on Avon Blvd., in Ashtabula Township.

The sex of the baby has not been determined and it's unclear how long the fetus had been there or how long it had been dead.

Ashtabula County Sheriff Deputies have spoken to a 28-year old woman.

Criminal charges could be filed.
