BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Two Wilmington men were arrested in Leland in connection to heroin related charges.

Wagus Moore and Jimmy Levon Underwood, both from Wilmington, were pulled over for a traffic stop on Village Road Tuesday night. The traffic stop lead to a search which revealed heroin, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Moore, 27, was charged with PWIMSD heroin (20 bags), sell/deliver heroin, PWIMSD marijuana (18 grams), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Underwood, 26, was charged with conspiracy to sell/deliver heroin.

These arrests mark the sixth and seventh heroin related arrest made in Brunswick County since Friday of last week.

Friday three people were arrested, and on Monday two more busted for heroin related charges.
