Buncombe County Sheriff Van Duncan said a wanted truck was located and a person has been charged after two people were found dead at a Leicester home Wednesday.
Deputies said they were called to a home on James Drive in Leicester at 8:12 a.m. about a suspicious death investigation.
Duncan said a family member checking on two people at the home found them dead and a truck missing.
The sheriff's office identified the victims as Joy Susan Runne, 45, and Andre Graydon Runne, 44. They said the victims died of apparent gunshot wounds.
Deputies had asked for the public's help in case they see a blue, 2011 Toyota Tacoma TRD edition pickup truck that was later located by Asheville police officers, according to Duncan.
He said the truck was found about 11:20 a.m. and a person of interest was found nearby. He said the investigation was ongoing and they were working to notify the victims' family.
Vincent Thomas Wesley Franklin, 25, was charged with two counts of first degree murder and one county of robbery with a dangerous weapon in the incident, the sheriff's office announced.
Franklin is the son and stepson of the two victims, deputies said.
