Deputies have confirmed that a body was found near the scene of a brush fire in Anderson County on Tuesday.
The fire happened on Chuck Drive in Anderson County.
The coroner, Don McCown, said the victim was burning leaves and lawn clippings when the fire got away from him.
McCown said it appeared the victim died of natural causes and believed the man had a heart attack or died of smoke inhalation.
