Emergency officials are investigating after a man fell from the roof of an elementary school under construction on Tuesday morning.
According to the Fort Mill Police Department, the York County Office of Emergency Management contacted police around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Officials say 28-year-old Fredy Noe/Urraco, of Charlotte, fell from the roof of the Doby's Bridge Elementary School, which is currently under construction.
Information from the scene indicated that Noe/Urraco works for Basland Inc. and fell from an upper roof area onto a lower roof level, and then to the ground.
He was airlifted to Carolinas Medical Center. He was listed as being in critical condition at the hospital as of Wednesday afternoon.
