MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - The US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has released the 2013 National Drug Threat Assessment, providing provides an up-to-date look at the challenges local communities face related to drug abuse and drug trafficking.
The report includes drug abuse and trafficking trends for heroin, prescription drugs, and the many ever-changing synthetic drugs manufactured overseas and imported to the United States.
The information included in this report comes from 1,307 state and local law enforcement agencies through the 2013 National Drug Threat Survey (NDTS).
