Fog rolls in. Fog rolls in.
GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

After some patchy fog burns off during the morning hours, we will become sunny and breezy by the afternoon on Monday.

FOX Carolina Meteorologist Nicole Papay said winds will pickup during the afternoon, with some areas in the Upstate seeing speeds between 8 and 14 mph while the mountains could see winds reaching 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

Highs will be in the lower 70s in the Upstate and in the lower 60s in the mountains.

Cooler air will gradually filter into the area for Monday night and into Tuesday with clear skies.

Lows Monday night will range from the upper 30s in the Upstate down to the lower 30s in the mountains.

Tuesday will again be sunny but cooler with highs ranging from the upper 50s in the Upstate to the lower 50s in the mountains. The breeziness will stick around on Tuesday, but it won't be quite as strong, according to Papay.

The next chance for wet weather could arrive late on Friday, Papay said.
