Lunenburg town meeting on banning criminals Thursday

The Lunenburg branch of the NAACP will host a town meeting Thursday night to discuss a controversial town law.

At issue, the law that allows people to be banned from living in the county because of criminal convictions.

The Commonwealth's Attorney, Robert Clement, has used the law since he took the job 30 years ago. Now, people living in Lunenburg are calling it outdated.

The town hall meeting starts at 7 p.m. Thursday.
