South Carolina (8-3, 5-3 SEC) shrugged off a shaky offensive start and took care of the Wofford Terriers (9-2, 7-1 SoCon) at Williams-Brice Stadium. South Carolina started the game with a leaky drive, followed by a punt in Wofford territory. The Terriers quickly answered back with a sustained drive of their own, grinding over seven minutes off the clock after a facemask penalty pushed Wofford past midfield. Wofford was unable to capitalize, though, and cashed in with a field goal. ...

South Carolina defeated the Wofford Terriers 31-10 on Saturday night at Williams-Brice Stadium as the yearly rivalry game against the No. 2 Clemson Tigers. Here’s what we learned. 1. Clemson looms large, but some Gamecocks aren’t saying much about it The Clemson Tigers at No. 2 have a legitimate shot at playing for a third straight national championship game, but if you ask some of the Gamecocks, they’re not saying much about their next opponent. “We’...

Rantankerous [ran-tank'uhr-us] (adjective) - A combination of rant [to speak in a wild or extravagant manner] and cantankerous [contentious, disagreeable]. The word is a creation of the Raycom Digital Hub staff and the only suitable description for the epic arguments between Brian "What We Learned" Tynes and George "Hot Reads" Jones, which until now have never been recorded.

(RNN) - Despite what you may have heard, no, we were not the guys cast to play "Sidney Deane" and "Billy Hoyle" in White Men Can't Jump.

That honor went to Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson. But maybe if we had better agents or had been out of elementary school at the time, things would be different.

Our disappointment didn't stop us from becoming fans of great sports films. Like most fans, we have strong opinions about which ones are the best, and we found out other people can be just as loud with their opinions.

Also this week:

Since Stanford exposed Oregon, what does that mean for the rest of the teams behind Alabama in the BCS? What were the Braves thinking when they decided to relocate to a new stadium outside Atlanta?

Include great movies we missed and other thoughts in the comments section below.
