Josh Cohen appears on the big screen in 'Last Vegas.'
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - An actor from the Wilmington area is making his big screen debut on Last Vegas.
Josh Cohen plays "Jimmy The Greaser" in one of the opening scenes of the movie.
The Charlotte native has lived in Wilmington for four years.
Last Vegas stars Michael Douglas, Morgan Freeman, Robert DeNiro and Kevin Kline.
Cohen said he had an interesting exchange with Kline in the make-up trailer, when he didn't recognize the Oscar winner. He mistook him for an extra on the movie.
"We just sat there and talked for 30 minutes, just joking around having a good time. And then, he got up and left and the make up artist hits me in the back of the head and says, 'That's Kevin Kline, you idiot!' So I didn't know what to do. My mouth dropped open. So, I knocked on his trailer and I said, 'Mr. Kline, I just really wanted to tell you I'm so sorry I for not knowing who you were' and he said 'Honestly, it was a compliment. I'm going for a new look and that made my day.'"
Cohen said he learned a lesson, always know who the lead actor is on the movie.
