CASTLE HAYNE, NC (WECT) – Polish culture will be celebrated
in Castle Hayne Saturday at the St. Stanislaus Church Polish Festival.
The festival is a celebration of all things Polish and it
includes food, music and dance.
The event is always held on the first Saturday in November
on the church grounds at 4849 Castle Hayne Road.
Now, in its fourteenth year, the Polish Festival attracts
thousands of visitors who attend the event to feast on authentic Polish foods,
drinks and a vast assortment of desserts.
The Chardon Polka Band from Chardon, Ohio, will play music
at the event.
The festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission
Parking is free.
Kielbasa and pierogi can be purchased to eat at the event or
to take home.
Organizers are also holding a cash raffle, with a winning
prize of $2,000.
