NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - WECT reporter Lindsay Curtin got the scare of a lifetime during a live shot outside a spooky house Halloween morning.

Curtin and photographer Mike Pelzer set the cameras up outside the house more than 2 hours before the frightening moment occurred.

Thanks to an extremely still, scary statue posing as a candy holder, they were unaware a real man was inside.
