CLAYPOOL, AZ (CBS5) -

Two employees and one customer hid in a walk-in cooler as a robber looted a Circle K store in Claypool early Tuesday morning.

The trio was able to call 911. When Gila County sheriff's deputies arrived, they confronted the suspect as he walked out of the store.

Joseph Bullis, 29, was taken into custody without incident.

Deputies learned from the manager that the suspect walked in and said, "This is a stickup."

Bullis walked through the store, filling his pockets with candy bars and a beer, sheriff's investigators said.

Bullis was booked into the Gila County Jail on charges of armed robbery and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bullis is currently being held on a $25,000 bond.
