Two Nashville nightclub security guards are facing charges for allegedly shooting into a moving car.
It happened at Club Miami on Thompson Lane last Wednesday just before 2 a.m.
It all began when a woman got kicked out of the club for fighting and the security guards brought her outside.
The woman allegedly backed into another car in the parking lot and then tried to run over the security guards.
Police say the security guards opened fire, hitting the car's driver's side front tire, the driver's side rear tire and rear bumper. After investigating the scene, detectives say the security guards shot at the car as it passed and they were not being threatened at the time of the gunfire.
Police responded to the club after a resident reported hearing gunfire. They say the club did not call 911 and that the security guards cleaned up all but one bullet casing.
Police found the 23-year-old victim at a nearby McDonald's after the shooting. She told them she did not realize her car had been shot at because she thought it was gravel from the parking lot. She was not hurt in the incident.
Forrest Bradford, 41, and Christopher Lyon, 25, have been charged with aggravated assault and evidence tampering.
