FRENCHTOWN TOWNSHIP, MI (Toledo News Now) -
The Michigan State Police say the remains of the body found in Frenchtown Township on Thursday have been identified, through fingerprint analysis, as that of Janet Lennen, age 56.
Lennen was reported missing on October 3, 2013 to the Flat Rock Police Department.
The Wayne County Medical Examiner's office is still trying to determine a cause of death and is seeking the assistance of a forensic anthropologist.
Police say they received a call from a person who said they had found a body in a wooded area off of South Stony Creek Road near LaPrad Road around 3:45 p.m. Thursday.
