Teens charged with planning to rob delivery driver

WILMINGTON, NC - (WECT) - Three teens have been charged for reportedly planning to rob a pizza delivery driver on Thursday night.

The WPD says Dominos Pizza got called to a lot they realized was vacant and alerted police. The WPD conducted and under-cover operation, when the officer disguised as the delivery driver got there he was approached by three males. Officers discovered that the teens had planned to rob the driver during the delivery. No robbery occurred.

Police arrested 18-year-old Jarell Murray,  18-year-old Jocqui Flowers and one 16-year-old.  All three have been charged with Conspiring to Commit Common Law Robbery.

Flowers and Murray are both in the New Hanover County Jail under bond.
